Sh. Ravneet Singh Reviews Progress of Anji Khad Bridge in Reasi, J&K

Sh. Ravneet Singh, Minister of State for Railways, inspected the progress of the prestigious Anji Khad Bridge project in Jammu & Kashmir. Accompanied by senior railway officials, he reviewed construction milestones and discussed the project's importance in enhancing connectivity across the region.

An engineering marvel, the Anji Khad Bridge is the first cable-stayed bridge on the Indian Railways network. Spanning the Anji River, it represents a leap in India’s infrastructure capabilities. The project is led by IRCON International Limited with technical support from Konkan Railway Corporation Limited.

Sh. Singh commended the teams for their dedication and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to timely completion. He highlighted the bridge's transformative potential to drive regional development, strengthen connectivity, and boost tourism in Jammu & Kashmir.

The Anji Khad Bridge, a vital link in the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, is expected to redefine the region’s economic landscape.
