Hon’ble Member of Parliament Dr. Nishikant Dubey and Ms. Gitika Pandey, General Manager, Eastern Railway, flagged off a special train from Deoghar Station to mark the inauguration of the Jasidih Bypass Line. Dr. Dubey also unveiled the commemorative plaque at Deoghar Station in the presence of Ms. Pandey and Shri Sangrah Maurya, Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol.

The newly inaugurated bypass line establishes direct connectivity between Deoghar and Kumrabad Rohini, eliminating the need for engine reversal at Jasidih Junction for Deoghar-bound trains. The new link is expected to ease congestion at Jasidih Junction, reduce operational time and facilitate smoother train movements.

The bypass will also help save fuel and crew resources, improving operational efficiency and strengthening rail connectivity in the region. The development marks an important step towards improving railway operations and providing more efficient train services for passengers.

During the special train journey, Ms. Gitika Pandey interacted with school students on board, adding a personal touch to the inauguration celebrations.
