Smt. Bela Meena, Divisional Railway Manager, Hubballi Division, inspected Ballari (BAY) Railway Station to review the progress of ongoing works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS).

During the inspection, the station parking area was examined, including verification of licensees’ documents and identity cards. The track at the FCI siding was also inspected to assess its condition and safety aspects

At Ballari Cantonment Halt Station, the existing infrastructure and passenger amenities were reviewed. Necessary instructions were issued to the concerned officials to address areas requiring improvement and ensure proper maintenance of passenger facilities.

The inspection covered key aspects of infrastructure development, station management and safety. During the return journey to Hubballi, a window trailing inspection was also conducted. Senior divisional officers accompanied Smt. Bela Meena during the visit.
