RPF Hyderabad Division Introduces ‘Pink Patrol’ Drone System to Enhance Women’s Safety on MMTS

The RPF Hyderabad Division has launched “Pink Patrol,” a new initiative aimed at strengthening women’s safety across MMTS services through advanced drone-based surveillance. The system features all-women RPF Shakti Teams who are trained and DGCA-certified to conduct UAV patrols and respond quickly to incidents.

According to the announcement, the initiative uses drone surveillance tailored to passenger density and vulnerability levels, enabling more targeted monitoring. Real-time alerts will be coordinated through “Shakti Saathi” WhatsApp groups, allowing faster communication and response. The patrol teams will also receive live aerial support, ensuring precise and rapid action during emergencies.
