Shri Ajay Nandan, a 1989 batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), officially assumed charge as the General Manager of the Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, on February 17, 2026. Nandan, who brings extensive experience in the Indian Railways to his new role, most recently served as the Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer (PCME) at Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) in Guwahati prior to his current appointment.
