Central Railway registered remarkable Freight Loading of 43.54 million tonnes in this Financial year till now, with an impressive loading of 6.17 million tonnes for the month of October-2025.

Central Railway has improved performance in Containers, Petroleum products Clinkers, o­nion, Iron Ore, etc which has enabled it to achieve the incremental loading over the corresponding month last year.

Loading of Containers contribute to a substantial increase inthe loading as compared to last year and o­nion loading figures have shown a sharp rise of 110% over last year’s loading.

Highlights

There has been a total interchange of 348 trains per day during October 2025 as against 340 trains per day during the corresponding period last year registering an increase of 8 trains per day.

The growth in freight loading is the result of various business development initiatives and consistent efforts undertaken by Central Railway to enhance logistics services and improve customer satisfaction.
