A landmark achievement of same-day issue of Birth Certificate and Aadhaar Enrollment for Newborns delivered on 02nd November, 2025 at Divisional Railway Hospital, Chakradharpur has been achieved.

This milestone of same-day issuance of birth certificates and Aadhaar enrollment for newborns has been achieved for the first time in any hospital across the State of Jharkhand, as well as for the first time in any Railway Hospital under South Eastern Railway.

With this system in place, parents will no longer need to apply separately for their newborn’s birth certificate and Aadhaar card as both documents will now be provided along with the discharge certificate of the newborn.

This has been made possible through the coordinated efforts of Chakradharpur Division, in collaboration with UIDAI and the District Collector, West Singhbhum, Jharkhand.
