Shri Santosh Kumar Verma has taken charge as Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division, South Central Railway on 18.08.2025. He belongs to the Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS), 1995 batch. Before taking over charge of the new assignment as Divisional Railway Manager, he was serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.

Shri Santosh Kumar Verma holds a B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) in Mechanical Engineering from the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) and M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has held various positions as Sr. Divisional Materials Manager, Nagpur / South East Central Railway; Dy. Chief Materials Manager / Central Organization for Railway Electrification (CORE) / Prayagraj. He had also held the post of Director/Stores/Research Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO)/Lucknow, Chief Materials Manager/North Western Railway/Ajmer, Additional Divisional Railway Manager/Hubli Division/South Western Railway.

He had also undergone training in Public Policy Management from prestigious institutes like Indian School of Business (ISB)/Hyderabad, INSEAD/Singapore and ICLIF/Malaysia.
