Shri Akhil Shukla, who was serving as Senior Divisional Operations Manager (Coordination), Jhansi, has taken charge as Deputy General Manager & Secretary to General Manager of North Central Railway.

He took over the charge from the outgoing incumbent, Shri Ajay Singh, who got transferred to Varanasi as ADRM.

Shri Shukla is an officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service of the 2013 batch. He had earlier served as Assistant Operations Manager/Freight/Prayagraj, Divisional Operations Manager/Freight/Prayagraj, Divisional Commercial Manager, Jhansi, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager/Freight, Jhansi, and Senior Divisional Operations Manager (Co), Jhansi, in NCR. He is an alumnus of KNIT Sultanpur, from where he completed his B.Tech. in Computer Science.
