General Manager Presents Safety Award to 11 Staff of Central Railway

Shri Dharam Veer Meena, General Manager, Central Railway, felicitated 11 staff members from various divisions on 02.04.2025 at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai, for their exceptional alertness and dedication to safety. The award includes a medal, commendation certificate, citation, and ₹2000/- cash prize.

Mumbai Division:

  • Shri Pritam Kumar Yadav (Loco Pilot, Kurla) detected fire in a stationary coach at Dadar Yard on 08.03.2025.
  • Shri Rohit Yashwant Koli (Train Manager, Panvel) stopped a train to remove an iron rod from track on 23.02.2025.
  • Shri Kunal Pariskar (Pointsman, Lonavala) noticed smoke from coach A3 of train 22731 on 18.02.2025.

Bhusaval Division:

  • Shri Narendra Gaonshinde (JE C&W, Satma) identified a loose grease seal on 18.02.2025.
  • Shri Lokesh Sejkar (Technician C&W, Satma) spotted a broken centre seal on 14.02.2025.
  • Shri Amrendra Kumar (Technician C&W) found broken CBC components on 09.03.2025.
  • Shri Anil Varma (Pointsman, Lasalgaon) noticed a hanging part from a goods wagon on 17.03.2025.

Nagpur Division:

  • Shri Sanjeev Kumar (Train Manager) detected a broken CTRB cup at Wardha on 15.03.2025.
  • Smt. Manisha Pardhe (Technician C&W, Amla) identified broken CBC on 06.02.2025.

Pune Division:

  • Shri Mukesh Ravindra (JE PWI, Miraj) stopped a train dragging a sender pipe on 12.03.2025.

Solapur Division:

  • Shri Samadhan Prabhu (ESM, Kurduwadi) detected a weld fracture on 07.03.2025.

Shri Prateek Goswami (AGM), Shri Chandra Kishore Prasad (PCSO), and other senior officers were present. The GM praised the staff’s vigilance, encouraging a culture of safety across Central Railway.
