Minister of State for Railways (MoSR) Ravneet Singh Bittu visited the Jalandhar Cantt Railway Station on Sunday to review the ongoing redevelopment work. The project, which is being executed with a budget of ₹99 crores, is progressing on a war footing.
Mr. Bittu, accompanied by the BJP leadership of Jalandhar, closely inspected the construction and modernization activities. He directed railway officials to ensure the work is completed within the stipulated timeframe without compromising on quality standards.
The redevelopment aims to transform Jalandhar Cantt into a state-of-the-art railway station, enhancing passenger convenience and providing improved infrastructure. The project reflects Indian Railways’ commitment to upgrading its facilities and boosting regional connectivity.
