Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway held a detailed review meeting o­n safety of train operations across the Zone on 03rd November, 2025 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad along with Shri Satya Prakash, Additional General Manager, SCR and Principal Heads of Departments. Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) participated through video conference.

During the safety review, Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava instructed divisions to carry out a special safety drive at Non-Interlocking gates to further enhance safety consciousness among staff and improve train operations. Further, the General Manager advised the officials to take up winter preparedness drive so as to ensure smooth train operations during the winter season. He also reviewed the stock position of fog safety devices over the zone and instructed the officials to ensure sufficient stocks in view of the ensuing foggy weather conditions.

The General Manager also reviewed the safety action plans pertaining to various departments including engineering, mechanical, signal & telecommunication and electrical. He reviewed the status of provision of CCTVs at goods sheds and instructed to further speed up the works.  Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava also discussed the crew working hours and instructed the officials to work towards further improving the rest time.
