Shri Mudit Chandra, has taken over the charge of Principal Chief Personnel Officer, North Central Railway, Prayagraj. He has assumed this charge following the superannuation of the outgoing Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Shri S. Balachandra Iyer, on October 31, 2025.

Shri Chandra is an Indian Railway Personnel Services Officer and belongs to Civil Services 1998 Exam batch. He attained his early education from St. Joseph’s College, Prayagraj and thereafter graduated in Mechanical engineering (B.E.)  from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Prayagraj.

Sri Chandra has served in various capacities in Indian Railways as Deputy General Manager/General, HR head at Agra, Jhansi & Prayagraj divisions of NCR and ADRM/Operations at Agra Division before joining NCR/HQ.
