Indian Railways is planning to introduce Sleeper Vande Bharat Express services between Lucknow and Mumbai, marking a major leap in long-distance rail travel. According to official sources, the high-speed train will significantly reduce journey time between the two cities—from approximately 22 hours to just 12 hours. While an official announcement is still awaited, reports suggest that the trial run for the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat Express may commence shortly. The upcoming train is part of Indian Railways’ ongoing modernization plan to enhance comfort, speed, and efficiency in intercity travel. With fully air-conditioned sleeper coaches, modern interiors, and advanced safety systems, the service aims to redefine the experience of overnight train journeys in India.
