Indian Railways is developing a dedicated online ticket booking portal exclusively for Members of Parliament (MPs), aimed at streamlining their travel arrangements. This initiative will cater to both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members, offering them a seamless and hassle-free ticket booking experience.

In a written reply to the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, July 23, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed the development. He stated that the Railways is in the process of creating a software system that will allow both sitting and former parliamentarians to reserve and cancel train tickets online at their convenience.
