GM/SWR Conducts Window Trailing Inspection, Reviews Chikkamagaluru Station Redevelopment under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme

Shri Mukul Saran Mathur, General Manager, South Western Railway, conducted a comprehensive window trailing inspection on 23rd July, 2025 between Kadur and Chikmagalur section. The inspection focused on reviewing a range of operational and safety parameters critical to ensuring smooth and secure train operations on the route.

Accompanying the General Manager were Shri Vinayak R Nayak, Additional Divisional Railway Manager/Mysuru, and other senior officials of South Western Railway. The team closely monitored key aspects related to track maintenance, signaling systems, and overall safety standards during the journey.

Following the trailing inspection, Shri Mathur visited Chikkamagaluru Railway Station to assess the progress of various ongoing infrastructure projects. He reviewed the station redevelopment works being carried out under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The redevelopment initiative aims to enhance passenger amenities, improve accessibility, and upgrade station facilities in line with modern standards.
