Additional 23,000 berths will be generated by introducing the Asansol – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) – Asansol special to clear the extra rush of passengers. Acknowledging the notable surge in travel demand during the summer season, Railways endeavors to furnish passengers with convenient and comfortable transportation choices. The heightened interest in travel during the summer season frequently poses challenges in obtaining train tickets.

01145 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) – Asansol special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 11:05 hrs. on every Monday between 07.04.2025 & 23.06.2025 (12 trips) to reach Asansol at 02:50 hrs. on the 3rd day, and 01146 Asansol – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) special will leave Asansol at 21:00 hrs. on every Wednesday between 09.04.2025 & 25.06.2025 (12 trips) to reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 08:15 hrs. on the 3rd day.

The special train will stop at 16 stations including Kulti station within Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions en route. The special train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class, and Air-Conditioned accommodations.
