It is a moment of great pride for South Central Railway as the Rajbhasha Department of SCR Headquarters has bagged the first prize of Railway Minister Rajbhasha Shield for the best performance in the field of implementation of Rajbhasha. Meanwhile, Vijayawada Division bagged the Acharya Raghuveer Chal Vaijayanti as Model Division, and Wagon Workshop, Guntupalli received the Railway Minister Rajbhasha Shield as Model Workshop. Shri Rajesh P. Khade, Mukhya Rajbhasha Adikari & Principal Chief Materials Manager (PCMM), SCR received the Railway Minister Rajbhasha Silver Medal.

These shields were presented by Shri Satish Kumar, Chairman & CEO, Railway Board, at a function organized in New Delhi on 20.03.2025, in the presence of Executive Director & Sr. Railway Board officials. The Railway Minister Rajbhasha Shield for the Headquarters office was received by Shri Rajesh P. Khade, Mukhya Rajbhasha Adikari & Principal Chief Materials Manager, SCR; Dr. Shyam Sundar Sahu, DGM (OL), and Shri M.K. Nagaraju, RBA/Hqrs.

The Acharya Raghuveer Chal Vaijayanti for Vijayawada Division was received by Shri Narendra A. Patil, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, and Shri M.K. Nagaraju, RBA. The Railway Minister Rajbhasha Shield for Wagon Workshop, Guntupalli was received by Shri S. Srinivas, Chief Workshop Manager, Guntupalli.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR, congratulated the Rajbhasha team on receiving the honor at the All India level. He appreciated the performance of the Headquarters, Division, and Workshop in the implementation of Rajbhasha. He also congratulated Shri Rajesh P. Khade, PCMM, on receiving the Railway Minister Rajbhasha Silver Medal. He advised the team to keep up the good work to achieve more laurels.
