The Managing Director of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Dr. Vikas Kumar, has been honoured with the prestigious “Leadership Award” by the India Water Foundation. The award recognises his outstanding leadership and contributions towards sustainable infrastructure development and responsible resource management.

The recognition has been conferred by the India Water Foundation, an organisation supported by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), NITI Aayog, and several Ministries of the Government of India.
Dr. Vikas Kumar has been acknowledged for his leadership in promoting environmentally responsible practices within urban transport systems.
