Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been awarded a significant signalling and telecommunication (S&T) maintenance contract by Western Railway, aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of critical railway communication and control systems in the Ahmedabad Division. Valued at ₹40.41 crore, the contract encompasses the round-the-clock deployment of skilled manpower dedicated to the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of Western Railway’s S&T infrastructure. The agreement will be executed over a 24-month period, reflecting RVNL’s expanding role in operational support and technical maintenance services within the Indian Railways network.
