DFCCIL Managing Director Meets Haryana CM to Outline State's Role in India's Logistics Future

In a significant move to advance India's logistics framework, Shri Praveen Kumar, Managing Director of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), led a delegation in a high-level meeting with the Honorable Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini. The formal meeting, held on 02nd September, 2025, focused on reinforcing how Haryana is poised to become a central hub in DFCCIL’s efforts to reshape the nation’s logistics map.

Accompanied by key officials, including Shri Pankaj Gupta, CGM/Ambala; Shri Ashish Mishra, GM/Security, EDFC; and Shri Akhilesh Srivastava, GM/Electrical, the Managing Director underscored the strategic importance of hubs such as New Rewari and Khatuwas (CMLK). He detailed how these hubs will enable the state to efficiently handle a greater volume and diversity of cargo, thereby easing congestion on existing rail networks. Shri Kumar also highlighted the substantial economic benefits for the state, including the stimulation of industrial growth and the creation of new employment opportunities, while promoting a more sustainable and environmentally conscious logistics system.
