BEML Ltd is strengthening its manufacturing capabilities with major land acquisitions in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The Madhya Pradesh government has allotted 148 acres in Raisen district for establishing a new facility dedicated to producing railway and metro rolling stock, including modern coaches. Meanwhile, in a significant boost to infrastructure and mining sectors, the Chhattisgarh government has approved 100 acres in Janjgir-Champa district at a nominal cost for setting up a heavy earth moving equipment plant. These strategic expansions aim to enhance BEML’s production capacity and contribute to India’s growing infrastructure push.
