NHSRCL MD Meets JARTS Delegation to Review Track Construction Training

Shri Vivek Kumar Gupta, Managing Director of the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), met with a delegation from the Japan Railway Technical Service (JARTS), led by Vice President Mr. Koshiishi. The meeting focused on reviewing the current status of track construction training being conducted under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project.

Discussions highlighted the ongoing collaboration between India and Japan in skill development, particularly in advanced track construction techniques based on Japan’s Shinkansen standards. The training, supported by JARTS, plays a crucial role in preparing Indian engineers and workers for the precise and safety-focused requirements of high-speed rail infrastructure.

The interaction reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to maintaining technical excellence and strengthening Indo-Japanese cooperation in the successful execution of India’s first bullet train corridor.
