IRCON Advances Sivok-Rangpo Rail Project with Successful Bridge Construction

IRCON International Limited is making significant progress in the ambitious Sivok-Rangpo Rail Project, aimed at enhancing rail connectivity between Sikkim and the rest of the country. The project recently witnessed the successful assembly and erection of three 76.3-meter-long Open Web girders on Bridge No. 15.

These girders, with a total weight of 985 metric tons, have been installed at a height of 24 meters from the ground. With this, IRCON has now completed 8 out of the 13 major bridges, showcasing precision engineering and commitment to timely execution.

The Sivok-Rangpo Rail Project is expected to boost economic growth and tourism in the region by providing seamless rail connectivity to Sikkim. With steady progress, IRCON continues to strengthen India's railway infrastructure and improve accessibility to border areas.
